A GAY WOMEN'S SOCIAL GROUP IN THE THAMES VALLEY

If you’d like to meet more gay women, then here we are - a friendly social group with over 250 members living in the home counties to the west of London. The majority come from Berkshire or South Bucks but we also have members in Oxfordshire, Hertfordshire, Surrey and London. Membership is free and new members are very much welcomed and included. The group is also part of the nationwide Lesbian organisation, Kenric.

Most of the women in the group are in their 30s, 40s and 50s, but we have some younger and some older. We come from all walks of life and all professions from farmer to pharmacist. Some have been married and have children, some have always been certain of their sexuality and others have discovered it late in life. And we have a fairly even 50/50 split of singles and couples.

We call ourselves the ‘Berkshire Blisters’ but we offer much, much more than our monthly footpath walks. We offer a wide mix of activities including cinema, cycle rides, barbecues, picnics, canoeing, quizzes, treasure hunts, camping, karting, concerts, hostelling, theatre, rounders, games nights, pub nights, book groups, meals out, the list is endless...

For more details and to join the Berkshire Blisters mailing list which includes a monthly newsletter of all upcoming events, send us a message using the Contact tab.
